This is the new and improved model of the XS2 - same great quality- many additional features! Constructed of a sturdy aluminium frame - the XS2 has been fully crash tested and has a one touch lap belt for added safety. The brakes are long reach on the rear wheels. The aluminium frame means this chair is super lightweight- making it a great choice for travelling as it folds down easily and can be lifted for transport into a car boot with minimum effort. The footrests will swing out of the way for transferring, as will the side panel fully remove making transfer sideways from bed to chair or chair to chair a lot easier. The seat cushion is fitted as standard for your comfort and there is also an anti-tip mechanism for use whilst climbing kerbs or uneven terrain whilst out and about. The chair has the additional safety features of reflectors making it that bit easier to be seen at night. The chair is suitable for self-propel or use with an attendant and with a maximum user weight of 21 stones is a very popular choice.
